- I like gerbera daisies and big dogs and marmalade on toast. I don't like grouchy people, waking up early, or when my tea gets cold before I'm finished. I'm a Canadian living in the South with my husband, my dog and a collection of critters who keep setting up house in the attic despite my best efforts to keep them out. I started blogging as a way to keep in touch with home. A place to share the little things that seem too insignificant to talk about long distance on the phone, but that turn out to be the stuff that actually keeps people close. Every so often a stranger surfs by, and that's nice too.
